Bring the vivid spirit of a birch forest into your space with the Berkshire Birch Forest Greenham Series, a striking contemporary art print taken from the original acrylic artwork. This piece captures a serene forest of silver birch trees, alive with expressive color and movement.
Bold, textured brushstrokes create a dynamic interplay of light and colour - fiery reds, warm yellows, oranges, and golden tones dance across the canvas, evoking the fleeting beauty of seasonal change. The signature white bark of the birch trees stands in elegant contrast, grounding the composition while guiding the eye through the forest’s depth.

About FleurArtelier
About FleurArtelier
About Julian Ryder at FleurArtelier
Julian Ryder is a British artist whose work celebrates the beauty of the natural world through bold colour, expressive composition and a lifelong love of making. Having studied at Falmouth School of Art & Design before continuing his education at Bath Academy of Art, Julian has spent decades developing a distinctive visual language inspired by the landscapes, coastlines and gardens of Britain.
Painting has been a constant throughout his life. Whether working from the rugged coastline, rolling countryside or the quiet abundance of a productive garden, Julian is continually drawn to subjects that reflect the richness, resilience and beauty of nature. Flowers, fruit, vegetables and herbs are not simply objects to paint—they represent growth, nourishment and the changing rhythm of the seasons, themes that run through much of his work.
Julian primarily paints using bold acrylics on glass and white acrylic panels, creating vibrant works that are rich in texture, light and movement. Alongside painting, he also works as an illustrator and silk screen printer, enjoying the unique qualities that each medium brings. His work combines the confidence of contemporary colour with the handcrafted character of traditional printmaking, resulting in artworks that are both striking and timeless.
At the heart of Julian's practice is a simple belief: creativity should contribute something positive to the world. His long-term dream is to cultivate a one-acre smallholding where he can grow fruit, vegetables, herbs and flowers, living from part of the harvest while donating the remainder to people who cannot afford fresh produce or who have limited access to it. It is a vision rooted in generosity, sustainability and the idea that beauty and nourishment should be shared.
While that dream will take time to realise, Julian wanted to begin making a difference today.
In August 2026, he founded FleurArtelier, a home for a carefully curated collection of fine art prints created from original paintings and prints made over many years. Rather than allowing these works to remain unseen in a studio archive, FleurArtelier gives them a new purpose—bringing beautiful, museum-quality art into people's homes while helping support those in need.
With every print purchased through FleurArtelier, 20% of the sale price is donated directly to charity. This means every artwork purchased becomes part of something larger: an opportunity to make a tangible and immediate difference. By collecting Julian's work, customers are not only supporting an independent artist but also joining him in helping communities through charitable giving.
Each month, FleurArtelier partners with a different charitable organisation. This month's charity is Newbury Soup Kitchen, whose work provides food, support and compassion to people experiencing hardship. Twenty percent of every sale made through FleurArtelier this month will be donated directly to help support their invaluable work.
For Julian, art has always been about more than creating beautiful images. It is about connection—to nature, to people and to the belief that small acts, repeated consistently over time, can have a meaningful impact. Every painting begins with inspiration from the world around us, and every print sold becomes an opportunity to give something back.
Thank you for becoming part of that journey.
